We want you to be happy with Symploke. This policy explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work.
1. Try it free first
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Your payment method isn't charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends straight from your dashboard — if you do, you won't be charged at all. The trial is the best way to decide whether the Service is right for you before paying.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't automatically pro-rate or refund the remainder of a current period, except as described below or where required by law.
3. Refunds after you've been charged
If you were charged and believe it was a mistake — for example, you intended to cancel during the trial, or you were billed twice — contact us within 14 days of the charge and we'll make it right, typically with a full refund. For annual plans, if you cancel within 14 days of the charge and have made little or no use of the paid period, we'll generally refund it.
Outside these cases we consider refund requests in good faith and on a case-by-case basis — if the Service isn't working for you, please reach out before disputing a charge and we'll do our best to help.
4. If the reMarkable sync stops working
The daily sync to your reMarkable is a best-effort “lab” feature that relies on reMarkable's unofficial cloud API and may occasionally pause (see our Terms). Because downloading your planner always keeps working, a temporary sync interruption isn't on its own grounds for a refund — but if sync is unavailable for an extended period and that materially affects your use, contact us and we'll find a fair resolution.
5. How refunds are issued
Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), our merchant of record, so approved refunds are issued through Creem back to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer. Your statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal under EU law, are unaffected by this policy.
6. How to request a refund
Email lars@symploke.app from your account address with the date and amount of the charge. We aim to respond within a couple of business days.
